Socialism & Democracy 26.2 (July 2012): 91-106, 2012
A prosimetrum — mixture of six convergent sections each having one short poem and one piece of essayistic or argumentative prose. Part 1: the ice age of catastrophic capitalist economy, whose purpose of profit entails mass dying and unhappiness; part 2: world upside down, the unheeded signals of war & migration; part 3: what classical Marxist propositions and methods remain valid; part 4: where to start from — defend the commons, i.e. human personal and collective bodies as well as the environment; part 5: a culmination in radical democracy. In conclusion, part 6: reality includes possibility, so the choice is either eco-political communism, poetically just, or unending wars and unbridled savagery.
